Acceptance
By downloading or using Cinelingua ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
License
Cinelingua grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on your Apple device for personal, non-commercial language learning purposes, subject to these Terms.
Subscriptions
The App offers a Pro subscription via Apple's In-App Purchase system. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription in iPad Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Cinelingua does not process refunds directly; submit refund requests through Apple's Report a Problem.
Third-Party Services
The App integrates with third-party services including Netflix, Firebase (Google LLC), Apple Sign-in, and AI translation providers. Your use of Netflix is governed by Netflix's Terms of Use. Cinelingua is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Netflix.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to: reverse-engineer or decompile the App; use the App to circumvent content protections; resell or sublicense access; or use the App in any manner that violates applicable law or third-party terms of service.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all devices or Netflix content.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cinelingua and its developer shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
